Important – please read
Prices are per person per night (excluding breaks), in GBP £. All prices include Value Added Tax (VAT) at the prevailing rate at the time a payment is made.
Credit / Debit Card Deposits:
All bookings must be guaranteed with a credit or debit card. A non-refundable deposit will be deducted from your card at the time of booking. Some bookings may require full prepayment at the time of booking or additional payment prior to your arrival. Any outstanding balance is payable on departure from the hotel.
Failure to cancel your booking will result in full payment being charged to the debit/credit card the deposit was taken from.
We will keep your deposit for six months for a future bookings at the company’s discretion providing you cancel 72 hours before arrival, excluding holiday houses and all bank holidays including Christmas and new year.
We strongly recommend that you have appropriate travel cover in place should you need to cancel as no refunds are given in any circumstances.
We reserve the right to invoice our guests for damage or negligent soiling caused to any parts of our premises; accidental or otherwise. Failure to inform staff about damage caused to our property may result in further charges to be incurred due to delayed intervention.
Any reckless tampering with equipment including fire alarms and extinguishers will incur a penalty charge.
General Hotel Information
Check In and Check Out
You may check in any time after 3:00pm and check out any time before 10:30am.
Early check ins and late check outs may be available upon request, subject to availability.
Dining at The Cliff Hotel
Food is served in our restaurant and bar between 12:00pm and 9:30pm including evening meals between 6:00pm and 9:00pm.
Please be aware that we do not automatically reserve a table in our restaurant for guests (unless you are staying on a package which includes dinner). Should you wish to book a table in our restaurant or have a specific time in mind for your evening meal please contact our reservations team. For guests booking upon check in, times and tables are allocated on a ‘first come first served’ basis.
Our dinner, bed and breakfast package includes a £25 per person allowance to be used for food items in our restaurant (please note this does not include beverages).
Unless otherwise stated, your stay includes use of our spa facilities, including a hydrotherapy pool, steam room, Jacuzzi, sauna and gym. These are open between 8:00am and 8:30pm weekdays and 8:00am and 7:30pm over the weekend.
Should you wish to use the spa facilities during your stay we kindly request that groups book in advance to ensure that the spa does not become overcrowded and that the tranquil, relaxing ambience is maintained.
There are also many treatments available with our spa therapists at an extra cost. To avoid any disappointment, booking for treatments is essential, especially at weekends. A full list of treatments can be found on our website or contact the spa via email email@example.com.
Please note that children under the age of 16 must be supervised by at least 1 adult per 2 children and are only permitted to use the spa between 8:00am and 10:00am Monday – Saturday and 8:00am – 10:30am Sunday.
Please be aware that there may be some disruption to the opening times and availability of the Spa throughout 2016, due to ongoing renovations. For more information, please contact us.
At The Cliff Hotel & Spa we allow pets in a limited number of our bedrooms. This is subject to availability and prior approval by the hotel and, unfortunately, we are unable to provide special consideration for guests who arrive at the hotel with their pet without prior arrangement. There is also an additional charge for this. Please be aware that, although pets are tolerated in our bedrooms, they are not permitted in the public areas of the hotel including the restaurant and bar or our golf course. We also ask that all dogs are kept on a lead at all times within the hotel and its grounds. Please be aware that, should you leave your pet unattended in your bedroom, your room may not be serviced.
At The Cliff Hotel we have a 9 hole golf course available to residents and non-residents. Day charges apply for use of this and score cards are available at reception. We are also able to offer discounted rates at Cardigan Golf Club for hotel residents. Please contact Cardigan Golf Club for details of this and to book tee times.
